The FlexoCheck image editing software is calibrated using glass rulers. Polymer plates with the dots below are automatically measured on a light plate. This means that the software can measure points of from less than 1 % up to 50 % density, replication guaranteed.At least nine points are clicked on with the mouse. The measurement is completed using the right mouse button and then presented as a PDF or an Excel protocol with details of all parameters. The images can of course also be stored individually.The measuring points are not enclosed in a circle but precisely recorded at the edges. This avoids the need to calculate averages, something which can lead to changes in the results.For measuring plate material the system Cellcheck Mini-USB is used with a 3x lens.It is almost never necessary to change the lens. Polymer sleeves are automatically measured in the reflected light with coaxial illumination (with the Cell check CIL). Special algorithms allow the measurement on sleeves with very rough surfaces.The results produced include the percent value, the linecount in cm and inches, the dot diameter,dot spacing, and the circularity of the dot as an average, and also the minimum and maximum values.The software avoids the use of unnecessary gadgetry in order to make its use fast and simple.
