In recording measured values there are a number of facts, which need to be considered in order to

determine the quality of the measurements.This means that the person responsible should consider what

he expects from the result of the measurement and how this can best be achieved.

The measurements are affected by:

       - the quality of the calibration template

       - the quality of the optics and the lighting

       

       - the quality of the computer hardware

       - the care taken by the operator

       - the interval between checks of the calibration

       - the correct settings for the video images

When making the measurements please note that some functions have been programmed which are

meant to increase the reliability of the measurements. For example a query asking for the correct lens

can be activated before saving, or an automatic calibration carried out
