The measuring and positioning table makes work considerably easier in the case of measuring tasks that repeat themselves. The system is built according to customers' requirements for the dimensions of the X, Y and Z axes. The PT und PTM systems are supplied with PC, control system and the optics required for the measuring tasks; either as mobile or stationary units. The adjustment of the Z axis can also be motor-driven or fitted with a motor-driven zoom system. Image processing programs can be produced in accordance with customer specifications and adapted to the respective measuring tasks. Measurements of distances along the X, Y and Z axes are carried out in conjunction with the software Metric MOT, which is available in twelve different languages. The simple and rapid operation of the complete system is the perfect starting point for rational measuring. Even employees who normally do not have anything to do with measuring tasks in their daily routines can be quickly instructed in how to use the device.
For safety reasons all doors of the measuring cabinet are secured by contacts. If one of the doors is opened during an ongoing measuring program, the system is automatically switches itself off.
