Are you looking for an inexpensive inspection system that solves your acute testing and measuring problems and can also be flexibly expanded in the future? With our CV modular inspection system we provide you with a system that combines all these features. Thanks to its small, slim design, it is easy to find space to set up the camera and the objective, whether it is used at a stationary testing place or fitted into machines. In combination with eight objectives the choice of 20 different barrel lengths provides a wide range of combination possibilities in terms of working distance, field of vision and magnification. CCD cameras in black/white or color with different chip sizes produce needle-sharp images. Two alternative plug-in illumination systems provide the correct lighting at the test point. Whether you use coaxial illumination directly through the objective or the LED ring illumination, the CV modular system provides the perfect light for every test situation. And the inexpensive system, consisting of barrel holder, slide adjusters, fine focusing and stand can also be used universally. In combination with our Metric or Metric Plus measuring software, the system can be expanded into a measuring station. Optionally the software can be expanded by including the image database "Archive". In this way the CV modular system enables inexpensive inspection, tailored to your requirements.

CV cameras
Light-sensitive, small and robust: The CCD cameras with C-mount screw thread enable a quick change of barrels.
The compact CCD cameras (approximately 50x30x30 mm) work in the smallest of spaces. This keeps the inspection system easy to handle and means it can be fitted in almost any space. We supply black/white and color cameras, including the necessary mains power supply units and connection cables (not shown in the illustration) for video monitors or the Framegrabber in your PC.
The length of the barrel changes the magnification, field of vision and possible working distance. Without side bore illumination is provided by the optional LED ring light or by a cold-light source. The barrels with openings on the side are equipped for use with coaxial lighting, but can also be fitted with LED ring light.
CV Barrels
Large selection: The barrels are available with and without coaxial bore in lengths from 60 to 250 millimeters with a graduation of 10 millimeters.

CV series Depending on the type of application, illumination is required through LED ring light and cold-light source from outside or coaxial light shone through the objective. The CV system is equipped for all cases. For instance, coaxial illumination is required for highly-polished surfaces; otherwise disturbing reflections cannot be avoided.
Highlights: exterior lighting through plug-in LED ring light. The cold-light source with two lighting points on flexible light rods. The coaxial lighting reflects the light beam into the beam path.
The precise mounting subbase enables ideal fastening possibilities with smooth-running slide adjusters. They can be used on a stand or individually on a machine. Barrel holder and fine focusing make it easier to mount and use the system. This increases flexibility.
CV-Stand
Solid as a rock: Stand, rail, holder and fine focusing, available individually or in combination with each other, depending on type of application. The base plate of the stand is also available with matrix bores or integrated lighting plate.
CV objectives
Focused: The high-quality objectives enable magnification of up to 4,000 times with a resolution of 1024 x 768 on a 17-inch PC monitor.
Objectives with a total of nine different focal lengths are available. In combination with 20 barrels this provides 177 magnification variations, working distances and visible surfaces (see table ). The optical magnifications range from 0.8 to 30 times. The objectives 0.8 and 1.6 cannot be used with coaxial lighting.

Interior views: Thanks to the coaxial lighting, even the finest spinning nozzles can be illuminated from inside, as well as examined and hence also measured.

Close examination: Ideal field of vision, best illumination and fast positioning of the optics: The CV system provides all these advantages.
Some examples of uses for the CV. For inspecting components, as in the illustration below, it is practical to use the stand with the required magnification and the ring lighting. For instance, this allows defects caused by wear or manufacturing errors to be measured using the Metric software, and to be quickly documented and stored in the database "Archive", where the information can be called up later.
Inspections of narrow bores, for instance on spinning nozzles, are another example of where the CV system is used. Here the coaxial light illuminates the inside of the finest bores. This enables deposits and blockages to be easily found. Inspections and work on filigree components, for instance in the electronics industry, can be perfectly implemented and monitored using the CV system. The extremely large working distance allows room for unhindered work on the board. This enables relaxed and ergonomically correct work.

Cross tables for the CV system
CV-EK-100
Positioning: the manual cross table simplifies testing and measuring. The light to be mounted underneath is an optional extra, and can be supplied with the choice of switching to the LED colours white, blue, red, green or green/red.
Cross tables make it easier to position the test objects.
The basic version is the cross table CV-EK-100 with a manual operating radius of 100x100 millimetres. Scope of supplies: glass plate for light mounted underneath and metal insert plate for vertical illumination work.
In addition to the 150x150 millimetre movable table the CV-EK-150 allows the fine adjustment to be unlocked, enabling larger objects to also be tested at different positions.

Advantage for large areas:
when the fine adjustment is unlocked, the table can be rapidly moved.
CV-MT-50
Precisely measuring great distances:
the CV-MT-50 cross table with built-in measuring screws enables measurements of up to 50 millimetres.
The CV-MT-50 cross table can supplied with built-in manual or digital measuring screws. The measuring area is 50x50 millimetres. The digital dials can be combined with the measuring software Metric KMT via the data output.
The motor-driven cross table, with or without measuring system, is operated via a joystick. Large tables of up to 300x300 millimetres can be supplied. All variants that are fitted with the measuring systems can be combined with the software Metric MOT.
Crosstable motorized
Convenient:
in combination with Metric MOT, the motor-driven cross table enables positions to be stored and then later automatically moved to.

Spoilt for Choice: Range of Components
The magnification sizes refer to what is displayed on a 17” monitor with a resolution of 1024 x 758 –
information subject to correction.
