 Chrome-scales: The vapour-metallized chrome scales of the glass ruler are of the highest precision. |

| Downloads The precision glass ruler features vapour-metallized hard chrome graduation marks and figures. Scales are available in metric and inches. To facilitate reading, the figures are backed by white tape. For safe handling, the chrome scale is equipped with an anodized grip at each end. The precision magnifiers (type 2016 with 15x magnification and 12 millimetre field of view), combined with the two lamps facilitate easy, error-free reading. The smallest increment on the inch scale is 0.005”, and on the metric scale 0.1 millimetre. For even more reading accuracy, we supply a chrome Microscale. Measurement of the distance between the tenth of a millimetre increments is carried out by an adapted analogue or digital gauge. This permits the exact measurement of distances to a hundredth of a millimetre. The high quality precision glass ruler is supplied in a durable wooden case to protect it against damage. The chrome-scale is available in lengths of 300, 500, 1000, 1400, 1600 and 2000 millimetres. Special lengths are available on request. An advantage of the glass ruler is that thermal expansion is very low. Temperature fluctuations therefore have little effect on the chrome scale. |
