Paint test: inclusions, pits and defects in clear varnish - the SLS finds them!

The Cellcheck N-SLS with the ST-45 inclined stand: a lighting system that creates a new outlook.

Cold lamps: twelve, white LEDs illuminate the test specimen. The clever configuration of individual groups makes it possible to change the direction of the light. The shadows and reflections thus create an almost three-dimensional image.

Illumination
The SLS lighting system makes it possible to activate the twelve LEDs in a ring around the lens of the Cellcheck N in twelve different group configurations.
This illumination creates effects that would otherwise remain hidden when using uniform illumination with all 12 diodes together. In order to change the light settings at high magnifications without vibration, a light-sensitive sensor is built into the side of the SLS system. The light setting advances one step every time the sensor is flashed with a small torch.
Particularly in combination with the inclined stand, an inspection system can be configured that generates unique effects. If the light adjustment button is held down for several seconds, the light continues to change automatically until the button is pressed again.
The combination of the inclined stand, the SLS light and the pivoting motion of the system in the stand opens up unique potentials. For example, defects in clear-coated surfaces can be detected and documented. Thanks to this test set-up, surfaces can be examined for their quality. However, measurements cannot be made in the inclined position.
The Cellcheck N-SLS can be provided with an optional inclined stand.
