The standard microscope is characterised by its easy and straightforward use. Simply place the microscope over the area to be inspected, focus – and you’re ready. Thanks to the transparent acrylic foot the surface to be checked is visible from all sides, thus facilitating the location of the area to be measured. Focusing is carried out by turning the barrel coaxially. Due to the short path within the microscope, the image of the object appears inverted.
Objectives with 2x to 30x magnification are available for the standard microscope. The measuring scales for each respective magnification (objective) in the eyepiece can be exchanged. If it is necessary to change the scale frequently, we recommend changing the whole eyepiece to ensure that this is carried out quickly, safely and cleanly. However, if additional objectives are used only for visual checks then no extra eyepieces are required.
Illumination from the side permits measurement on dark surfaces or in dark rooms. Two 1.5 volt mignon batteries are required. The microscope is supplied in a padded transport box, providing safe transport space for a further four objectives which are available as accessories.
The MKH stand ensures that the microscopes of the 2034 series always stand absolutely securely. For inspection tasks on rollers, this stand is an absolute must. And, of course, when working with a digital camera, the MKH stand is simply indispensable. With the aid of adapter rings between the eyepiece of the microscope and the objective of the digital camera, it is possible to take a picture. Via an adapter cable between the camera and computer interface the image can be viewed on the screen of a computer. With our Metric measurement software, comprehensive inspections and detailed documentation can be carried out on the spot. For lists of all microscopes, scales and technical data, see product list.
